Australian Ochre is the oldest color in Aboriginal art, with over 40,000 years of history. Aboriginal people collected red, yellow, white, and black ochre from sacred sites for rock art, body painting, and ceremony. Wilgie Mia in Western Australia is the most famous ochre mine, considered sacred. Red ochre represents blood and life.

Auspicious Green originates from Ming and Qing court palettes, named after "lu" meaning prosperity. In Five Elements theory, green corresponds to the east and wood element. Emperor Qianlong particularly favored this color for imperial gifts.

Bamboo Green comes from the skin of fresh bamboo. In Chinese culture, bamboo is one of the "Four Gentlemen," symbolizing nobility, modesty, and resilience. Su Shi's famous line "Rather eat without meat than live without bamboo" captures scholars' love for bamboo.

Amazon Green evokes the planet's largest tropical rainforest. With roughly 10% of Earth's species, its layered canopy creates a green ocean that symbolizes Brazil's ecological identity.

Andes Green comes from Andean emeralds and malachite. The Inca considered green the color of life—Andean green valleys were the Inca civilization's granary. The Inca developed complex terrace agriculture at 3,000m altitude. Machu Picchu's surrounding emerald mountains, perpetually shrouded in mist, are called the "City in the Clouds."

Siamese Gold is the soul of Thai Buddhist art. Thailand, the "Land of the Yellow Robe," has over 40,000 temples, nearly all gleaming with gold. Bangkok's Wat Arun and Chiang Mai's Wat Phra That Doi Suthep blaze with gold leaf. Thais believe applying gold to temples is the highest merit—devotees save for years to offer a single gold leaf.
